"The product obtained from the complete or partial alcoholic fermentation of grape juice is called wine",

- Perhaps this would be the definition of wine in a book of chemistry, or any school curriculum, written in bold.

Fortunately, however, wine is more than just a substance,

Winemaking - a magical chemical process

Neither is it a chemistry textbook.

Wine is a mystery that can only be solved patiently, step by step, drop by drop.

Wine varieties

Wine can be dry, semi-dry, sweet, semi-sweet, sparkling, or fortified…

It can be made in pitchers, oak, glass, or stainless-steel containers, even in concrete tanks too.

Completely different wines are made in cool and hot regions, in areas known for their humid and dry climate.

In short, "the more men there are, the more opinions" – you’ve heard, right?

The same is true about wine: the more vineyards there are in this world, the more wine varieties!
